Creative Kitchen is a children’s cooking school, based in Consett, Co. Durham offering a variety of interactive cooking workshops suitable for toddlers to teens.
Within the local community we run workshops all year round, we hold regular weekday workshops, holiday clubs and one-off workshops.
Our cooking workshops are suitable for children aged 2 years+ and provide hands on experiences and access to real life tools, allowing children of all ages to fully participate in cooking activities; children weigh, measure, mix, cut, create and cook up lots of fun along the way. Our little chef workshops are themed to capture the imagination of our little chefs!
Our junior chef workshops are mostly suitable for children 8-12 years old. These workshops are intended to build confidence in the kitchen, supporting children to develop cooking and nutrition as essential life skills, putting maths and science skills into real life contexts.
